Interested Buyers can review below the history of this DP3 Class Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig, as follows: –
– Rig Capacity to Operate: Water depth 10.000 ft and Drill up to 35.000 ft.
– The platform is stranded about 17 nautical miles south breakwater from South American Port.
– The water depth in that area is around 22 meters.
– The transit draft of the platform is of 9.94 meters.
– An inspection was made with divers, and it was verified that she’s more or less of 40 cm drifted in sand seabed.
– The 8 thrusters in the keel of the pontoon are damaged.
– The 8 thruster rooms on the pontoons are flooded.
– Two of the four pump rooms are flooded.
– All diesel tanks in the pontoons do not have diesel and the hull has no damages. There is no water penetration in the tanks.
– Pontoon’s access through the stairs on the columns is clear and available.
– A company contractor has been hired to conduct risk assessment + flotation procedure + towing plan. Owners will provide same upon inspection.
– Ballast tanks are free from flooding according to a previous Class inspection.
– The rig platform has enough buoyancy to be floated but when that happens it must have the tug (or tugs) ready/ on standby to take the semi-sub to the dry dock at designated shipyard location.
– The platform is currently in black-out mode to avoid consuming of diesel.
– On board there is no diesel to be able to start some main machineries which will enable to test how much ballast the platform has on board.
– All security systems are out of service due to lack of electricity.

A) Drilling Rig Recovery Project,
B) Transportation project, 1): Semi-Submersible Rig to be transported by Heavy Lift Vessel. Or

– Rig re-activation is in range of US$10 – US$12m it depends where rig will be reactivated. We can guide and provide quotation offers, as per needed basis.
Thrusters probably needs replacement due to deficiencies of supplying OEMs parts. Available New or Secondhand Thrusters – fully operational – upon request.
All Engine Room Compartments are in good Order.
SOLAS Vessel. All NAV & Comm’s equipment/ systems needs to be tested & re-certified.
All FFE & LSA in place while it needs to be inspected by 3rd party & re-certified.
