Introcudction
Horizon Offshore Services is dedicated to preventing acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within its business operations and supply chains. We recognize our obligations under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the US Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 within implemented Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 48 CFR 52.222-50—Combating Trafficking in Persons and strive for transparency within our organization and with our suppliers.
Our Business
Horizon Offshore Services is a specialist global offshore shipbroker and marine engineering consultancy firm providing comprehensive services with offices worldwide.
Our team of experts specializes in various areas of shipbroking, encompassing chartering, ship sale and purchase, sourcing and trading of fuel, gas, chemicals, conducting offshore project management and towage services. Additionally, sometimes we house an in-house derivatives brokerage, facilitating freight futures, iron ore, coking coal, and steels.
Our Research Department diligently collects and analyzes global data, transforming it into actionable insights for both Horizon Offshore Services and our esteemed clients who seek to mitigate risks and make well-informed decisions.
Our Supply Chain
Our global supply chain includes support functions for our workforce, such as professional services, IT, communications, travel, accommodation, office, and property services.

Horizon Offshore Services maintains a firm stance of zero tolerance towards slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to conducting all our business dealings and relationships across the world ethically and with utmost integrity.
This commitment extends to upholding internationally recognized human rights standards. We expect all entities within our supply chain to align with our values.
Adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, is a fundamental principle outlined in Horizon Offshore Services’ code of conduct for employees, subcontractors, business partners, and agents of the company. The group takes practical and reasonable measures to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations, including UK labor laws. Our HR policies and procurement procedures are in accordance with UK law and complies within all US regulations accordingly.
Next Steps
We are diligently assessing the effectiveness of our existing protocols to enhance our understanding and awareness of the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking within our supply chains and overall business operations. Our objective is to mitigate these risks.
As necessary, we will introduce new procedures and provide training to relevant staff members. All directors and senior managers have been briefed on this important matter.
We remain committed to continuously evaluating the effectiveness of our measures to ensure that no instances of slavery or human trafficking exist within our business or supply chain.
