Multi-purpose SOLAS Offshore Vessel engineered and configured for offshore mission support, emergency response operations, military and governmental deployments, subsea support, small craft launch and recovery, special project transportation, offshore logistics, and ROV support campaigns. Constructed as a Subchapter I offshore vessel under USA flag registry and fully Jones Act compliant, the vessel is ABS Loadline classed and certified under USCG Subchapter I Oceans SOLAS requirements, making her suitable for both domestic and international offshore operations requiring enhanced regulatory compliance and mission adaptability.
The vessel measures approximately 63.4 m LOA with beam of 13.4 m and operational draft of approximately 4.0 m. The platform provides a highly stable and versatile offshore working arrangement with approximately 353 m² of open clear deck area together with additional covered deck space and cargo securing systems throughout supporting approximately 17 TEU cargo capability. Reported deadweight capacity is approximately 1,235 tons with substantial liquid storage capability including approximately 4,000 bbl recovered oil storage arranged across four dedicated tanks fitted with thermal oil heaters, FRAMO deepwell centrifugal pumps, and International Intershield 300V epoxy coatings. Port and starboard transfer manifolds are installed supporting both ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore transfer operations.
Main propulsion is provided through 2 x Caterpillar 3512TA diesel engines producing approximately 1,500 BHP each for a combined output of approximately 3,000 BHP. Auxiliary electrical generation is supported through 3 x 250 kW generator sets together with a dedicated 490 hp bow thruster arrangement to improve maneuverability during offshore support and cargo handling operations. The vessel maintains economical operational consumption of approximately 100 gph at cruising speeds of approximately 12 kn while offering an operational range exceeding approximately 7,200 nm.
The vessel has been specifically configured to support advanced offshore mission profiles including launch and recovery operations for RHIB craft, unmanned systems, ROV spreads, aerial drone support systems, and specialized offshore equipment. Deck equipment includes 2 x 20-ton extendable deck cranes together with 3 hydraulic deck winches rated at 5-ton, 10-ton, and 20-ton capacities respectively. Additional deck equipment includes towing bitt arrangements with hydraulic McElroy MC-21 capstan systems supporting towing and marine support operations.
Small craft support capability includes 2 x Brunswick Impact 650 RHIB units powered by Volvo Penta outdrive propulsion systems suitable for crew transfer, security support, offshore inspection, intervention work, and rapid deployment operations. The vessel is additionally fitted with a helicopter deck rated for Bell L206 operations and configured for aerial drone deployment and mission support activities.
Accommodation arrangements are designed to support extended offshore operations and mission-specific personnel requirements. The vessel includes dedicated command and control room facilities together with operational office spaces, locker rooms, hospital facilities, and enhanced accommodation capability for up to 27 persons overall while permitting carriage of up to 12 passengers in addition to marine crew during international operations. Cabin arrangements include 2 single staterooms, 4 double staterooms, 1 quad stateroom, and 4 six-man staterooms suitable for offshore technical personnel, military detachments, scientific teams, ROV operators, and mission specialists.
Operational versatility allows the vessel to support offshore emergency response, marine construction support, governmental operations, military drills, logistics support, environmental response, offshore renewable support campaigns, and special transportation projects involving sensitive or mission-critical cargoes. The combination of large deck area, RHIB deployment capability, helicopter operations, liquid handling systems, and mission support infrastructure positions the vessel as a highly adaptable offshore support platform suitable for both commercial and governmental operations.
