Propulsion is provided by 2 × Schottel SRP-2020 fixed-pitch azimuthing propulsors in nozzles, delivering a total of 6700 BHP, achieving a maximum speed of 11.50 knots and a cruising speed of 10.00 knots. Bow thrusters consist of 2 × Schottel fixed-pitch units with a total of 3164 BHP. Electrical power is generated by 4 × Cummins QSK60DM Tier II units, providing a total rating of 7300 kW at 690 V / 60 Hz / 3-phase.
The vessel features a large open cargo deck area of 930 m² (approximately 192.5 m × 15.9 m), with deck cargo capacity of 3709.6 t at 5.3 t/m² strength. Liquid cargo capacities include 3097.1 m³ of liquid mud (discharge rate 159 m³/h), 913.8 m³ of methanol (discharge rate 170.3 m³/h), 2279 m³ of drill/rig water (discharge rate 170.3 m³/h), 63.3 m³ of potable water, and fuel oil capacity of 913.8 m³. Dry bulk capacity is 406.3 m³ (discharge at 6 bar). Additional fire-fighting capability is provided by 2 × fire monitors each rated at 1200 m³/h.
Accommodation is arranged in 17 air-conditioned/ heated staterooms for a total of 46 persons, configured as 2 single cabins, 8 double cabins, and 7 quadruple cabins, plus 1 lounge.
Special features include DP2 dynamic positioning, computerized tank level indicating system, vessel stability program, cargo discharge system, fuel management program, liquid mud pipe stripping system, real-time video monitoring on the main deck, ergonomically designed pilothouse, incinerator, water maker, and 1 × Viking fast rescue craft with 40 hp motor.
Anchoring equipment comprises 2 × 7000 lb Danforth anchors with 2 × 900 ft chain, handled by windlass systems.
