This DP2 PSV, built in 2010, is an ABS-classed offshore Platform Supply Vessel, SOLAS compliant, flying the Mexico flag, designed for reliable support operations with +A1, AMS, and DP2 notations.
The vessel measures 76.2 m LOA with a beam of 17.1 m and a depth of 5.49 m, yielding a GRT (ITC) of 1,786 and net tonnage of 701. It offers a deadweight of 3,130 Mt, with a maximum draft of 4.41 m and minimum draft of 2.29 m.
Propulsion is provided by 2 x Cummins QSK60 main engines delivering a total of 4,000 BHP, driving fixed-pitch propellers (FPP, 4-blade, 2.06 m diameter). Positioning and maneuverability are enhanced by 3 x Cummins bow thrusters (total 900 kW / 1,500 BHP), 2 x CPP Schottel stern thrusters (total 350 BHP), and independent Becker high-lift rudders. Electrical power is generated at 480 V / 60 Hz / 3-phase.
Performance includes a maximum speed of 12.0 knots (fuel consumption 622 l/hr) and a cruising speed of 10.0 knots (fuel consumption 557 l/hr).
Capacities feature a large open deck area of 53.4 m x 14.3 m (765 m²) with deck cargo strength of 2.6 t/m² and capacity for 2,119 Mt deck cargo. Liquid cargoes include 1,484 m³ liquid mud (discharge 111 m³/hr), 626 m³ fuel (discharge 161 m³/hr), 984 m³ drill/rig water (discharge 198 m³/hr), 101 m³ potable water, and 170 m³ dry bulk (discharge 2.27 bar). A 7,200 l/min fire monitor is fitted for enhanced safety.
Accommodations provide air-conditioned/ heated berthing for 22 persons across 8 staterooms (configured as 2 single, 3 double, 1 quadruple, and 1 six-berth).
Electronics and navigation systems incorporate advanced equipment including Yokogawa CM29008, Furuno series radars and ECDIS, Bierer DPS, AMEX-420, and communication suites with ICOM M504 and safety devices such as EPIRB, SARTs, four 25-man life rafts, and a Fassmer RR 4.2 rescue boat. Additional features include an electro-hydraulic anchor windlass, CO² fixed firefighting system, and fuel/ oil monitoring with printer.
