Built in 2007, this 4,750 BHP Ice Class Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel is classed with BV. The vessel has 55 T BP capabilities and a GRT of 977 and NRT of 293, with a DWT of 834 t. Her principal dimensions are 48.0 m LOA, 13.2 m breadth, and 4.5 m draft.
She is powered by 2 × CAT 3516B main engines, each developing 2,357 BHP at 1,600 rpm, driving twin fixed pitch propellers in kort nozzles through Reintjes gearboxes, delivering a bollard pull of 55 t and a free-running speed of approx. 10 kn. Electrical power is supplied by 3 × CAT 3408C gensets rated at 340 kW each.
Deck machinery includes a double-drum electro-hydraulic towing winch with 100 t pull (1st layer) and 150 t brake holding capacity, 2 × 10 t tugger winches, 2 × 5 t capstans, and a stern roller of 4.0 m × 1.8 m dia., SWL 200 t. The vessel is equipped with hydraulic shark jaws and towing pins, SWL 200 t.
Clear deck area measures 221.45 m² (21.5 m × 10.3 m) with deck cargo capacity of 250 t. Tank capacities include 638 m³ fuel oil, 196 m³ fresh water, 92 m³ ballast, 13.7 m³ foam, and 19.3 m³ dispersant. Fuel consumption is approx. 11.5 m³/day under tow and 9.5 m³/day without tow.
Accommodation is provided for 30 persons in 1-man and 4-man cabins. Navigation and communication equipment includes JRC and Furuno radars, GPS, gyro and magnetic compasses, autopilot, SSB, VHF, Inmarsat C, EPIRB, and Doppler speed log.
Fire-fighting capability comprises a FiFi system rated at 600 m³/hr with two monitors, supported by fixed water spray and foam/dispersant systems.
