This 1962-built double-hull liquid barge measures 82.3 m LOA, 18.3 m beam, and 7.7 m depth with a 5.8 m summer draft. Classified by ABS and USCG-certified for Great Lakes service, it features a flush deck, full spoon bow, steep raked stern with skegs, and tug notch. Cargo capacity is approximately 39,746 bbl (6,317 m³) at 100%, configured for Grade D & E cargoes with independent segregated piping systems. Cargo heating is provided by a Vapor Liquid Phase Heater rated at 8,000,000 BTU/hr (2,345 kW), maintaining oil cargo discharge temperature while underway. Two Sier-Bath screw pumps (1,500 GPM / 340 m³/hr each at 8.6 bar) powered by GM 8V-71 engines handle cargo transfer. Equipped with 2 layers of tank coils, dual 8” discharge headers, and independent heater fuel tanks on deck, it ensures efficient operations in Great Lakes conditions.
Deck equipment includes a 3000 lb stockless anchor with 178 m of 57 mm chain, Emerson-Walker hydraulic windlass, dual NETEC mooring winches with 91 m of 22 mm wire, two 175 kW AC generators (John Deere engines), and a Sul-Air 40 hp electric blowdown compressor rated at 160 CFM (4.5 m³/min).
Deadweight: 6,044 LT (6,142 MT) in saltwater.
Asphalt Capacity: 37,636 bbl (5,981 m³) at 95% in summer and winter.
