This PSV, classed by BV and delivered in Sept. 2005, is a purpose-built for super Heavy-cargoes and Pipe transportation offshore support operations designed for unrestricted navigation and equipped for dynamic positioning system (DP2 class, Converteam IJS system with multiple reference sensors including DGPS/ DGNSS, Radascan, and Cyscan). With an LOA of 93.45 m, LBP of 81.50 m, and a beam of 22.00 m, the vessel has a summer draft of 6.52 m, a DWT of 4,337 t, GT of 5,448 t, and NT of 2,069 t.
The vessel features a heavy-duty cargo deck rated for 5 t/m² between FR.19–63 and 7 t/m² aft of FR.19 and forward of FR.63, providing a total deck area of 1,075 m². It is powered by 2 x MAK 8M25 main engines (2,320 kW @ 720 rpm), supported by 2 x MAK 6M25 gensets (1,800 kW @ 720 rpm) and a 328 kW emergency generator. Propulsion is provided via 2 x Azimuthing Contra-Rotating Propellers, with station-keeping aided by 2 x tunnel bow thrusters and 1 x azimuth bow thruster, delivering a service speed of 13 kn at 140 rpm with a fuel consumption of approx. 10 m³/day.
Tank capacities include 2,510 m³ of ballast water, 1,165 m³ fuel oil, 1,049 m³ potable water, 450 m³ mud, 224 m³ brine, 197 m³ base oil, 335 m³ dry bulk, 190 m³ methanol, and 19 m³ MEG/ TEG. Pumping capacity ranges from 75–200 m³/h depending on product, with a full tank cleaning system and flow meters installed. The vessel is equipped with a passive flume anti-roll system (2 x roll reduction tanks) to ensure stability in harsh offshore conditions.
Accommodation is provided for up to 46 persons, with 10 single and 18 double cabins, alongside full onboard amenities including a dining room, TV lounge, gym, smoking room, and hospital. Navigation and communication systems include Furuno X- and S-Band radars, Simrad gyrocompasses, magnetic compasses, echo sounder, ECDIS, and GMDSS-compliant radio suite (VHF, Inmarsat C, Iridium, AIS).
Deck equipment includes 2 x 3 t @ 12 m knuckle boom cranes, 2 x SPEK anchors (4.13 t), 2 x rope/ wire winches, 2 x aft mooring capstans, and 2 x 10 t tugger winches. For emergency and standby duties, the vessel is fitted with 6 liferafts (150 pax total), 70 immersion suits, 2 x SOLAS FRCs (50 pax), and 2 x optional Delta ARRC rescue crafts with dual winch Vestdavit systems and onboard Category B hospital facilities.
