This multifunctional DP2 AHTS has a 170T BP capabilities and is classed Safety & Rescue Support Vessel by DNV with notation +1A1 Tug/Supply Vessel – SF, FiFi 1+2, OilRec, Dyn. Pos. Autr., LFL, EO. The vessel features a dual independent engine room configuration for enhanced survivability and continuous operation. Built with redundancy in mind, all major systems including thrusters and control panels are split across watertight compartments, enabling the vessel to maintain partial propulsion under emergency scenarios.
Measuring LOA 83.45 m, Beam 18.00 m, Draft 5.55 m, and with DWT 2,500 t, she offers a main deck space of 590 m² with a cargo capacity of 1,000 t at a deck strength of 5 t/m².
Propulsion is provided by 4 x 4,500 BHP Wichmann diesels with CP nozzled propellers via Lohmann & Stolterfoht gearboxes, delivering a continuous bollard pull of 170 t. Equipped with DP2 via Kongsberg SDP21, she supports high-precision station-keeping through dual DGPS, Fanbeam, Artemis MK4, and Hipap 350 systems. Auxiliary power is generated by 4 x 3,380 kVA shaft generators, plus three Caterpillar-driven gensets.
Her operational versatility includes FiFi I+II compliance with 3 water monitors (7,200 m³/h) and 1 foam monitor (300 m³/h), gyro-stabilized and bridge-operated, capable of 210 m throw distance. She also features full NOFO-compliant oil recovery capabilities with 1,000 m³ oil storage and dispersant gear, plus ROV support via dedicated garages, moonpool taut wire, and onboard winches.
Deck machinery includes a 300 t pull / 430 t brake AH/towing winch, dual Hydralift 5 t knuckle cranes, Ulstein 450 t stern roller, anchorhandling tongs (440 t), towing pins, and a 100 t SWL A-frame. The vessel carries a full GMDSS suite, including Furuno radars, GPS, Navtex, Sailor VHFs, and UHF comms, alongside hospital facilities, accommodation for 34 persons, and a Springer-type MOB boat.
Tank capacities include 798 m³ cargo fuel, 767 m³ special products, 211 m³ methanol, 932 m³ drill water, and 205 m³ dry bulk across 4 tanks. She is fully outfitted for anchorhandling, towing, standby rescue, offshore supply, ROV/ IMR ops, and emergency preparedness.
