HOS#427 | 2024 | 133 m | ICE Class | 2,200T SWL Crane | DP2 Self-Elevating Offshore Wind Turbine Service Jack-Up | For P&C Sale

This is a self-elevating offshore wind turbine service jack-up vessel, built to the highest standards and designed for a variety of demanding offshore tasks. With an overall length of 133.00 m and a moulded breadth of 53.00 m, the vessel offers a substantial platform for offshore construction/ installation operations. The design draft of 6.73 m allows for efficient performance in varying water depths, and the free main deck area of 4,800 m² provides ample space for equipment and operations.
The Vessel is equipped with a powerful propulsion system consisting of 3 azimuth thrusters, each rated at 3,500 kW, and 3 bow thrusters of 1,660 kW. This setup enables a transit speed of 8.4 kn. The main power plant includes 6 diesel engines, each rated at 3,380 kW, meeting Tier III emissions standards with SCR technology, while harbour power is provided by a 1 x 800 kW engine. In case of emergency, the vessel has 500 kW emergency power available.
The vessel is fitted with a robust jacking system, utilizing 144 pinions and an electric VFD drive. The system can lift the hull at a rate of 0.5 m/min and handle leg movement at 0.8 m/min. The maximum load per pinion is 390 mt, and the design life of the jacking system is 2,500 load cycles. Additionally, it features a triangular truss leg design with a chord distance of 9.0 m, ensuring stability and reliability during offshore operations.
A key feature of the vessel is its heavy lifting capability. The main crane can lift 2,200 T SWL at 19 m, and 1,148 T SWL at 40 m radius, with a maximum lifting height of 160 m above the main deck. Two auxiliary cranes provide additional lifting capacities, with 300 T SWL at 20 m, 80 T SWL at 50 m, and 50 T SWL at 30 m radius respectively.
Vessel is equipped with a DP-2 class dynamic positioning system by Kongsberg Maritime AS OEM, ensuring reliable and safe DP operations in challenging/ harsh environment offshore conditions. The vessel also has an Ice Class B notation and has a total of 120 persons onboard (POB) accommodation capacity. In addition, she is equipped with an S61N/S92A helideck for safe helicopter operations.
With a design life of 25 years, this vessel is built to withstand harsh offshore environments, with a temperature range from -20°C to 40°C and seawater temperatures ranging from 0°C to 32°C. The vessel is designed to operate efficiently in a variety of sea states, with a maximum water depth capability of 77 m.
This vessel is a state-of-the-art solution for offshore wind turbine servicing and other offshore construction/ installation or decommissioning support operations, offering superior heavy-lifting capabilities, reliability, and safe operational flexibility.
