This versatile self-elevating jack-up barge is designed to support the development of nearshore infrastructure projects. Built for flexibility, it can operate with either a crawler crane or a tower crane, offering exceptional adaptability for various construction tasks. The jack-up barge features a removable helipad, compliant with Cap 437, and has been rated for a Eurocopter AS350 B3 (MTOW 2500 kg), with an upgrade option to accommodate a Eurocopter EC145 (MTOW 3585 kg).
The vessel’s dimensions include an LOA of 35.0 m, a beam of 30.3 m, and a draft of 3.1 m. It is capable of operating in water depths ranging from 30 to 45 m, with a maximum pontoon lifting speed of 12 m/hr. Equipped with a jacking system from IHC Gusto Engineering, it has a preload capacity of 1000 tons per leg and a jacking payload capacity of 680 tons with the M2480D crane.
For accommodation, the jack-up barge is equipped with a range of facilities spread across three decks. The main deck houses deck stores and machinery rooms, while the tween deck includes a mess room, kitchenette, jacking office, and male and female toilets with showers. The upper deck contains two large offices, a meeting room, and emergency accommodation for eight personnel.
The barge is powered by two 380V 400 kVA jacking generators and two 415V 100 kVA auxiliary generators. For mooring, it is fitted with six winches, each with a pulling force of 30 tons and a holding force of 60 tons, utilizing 34 mm wire and a drum capacity of 300 m. The anchors used are 6 x 5T Delta Flipper, though they are not currently fitted.
Classed as an offshore service unit by B.V., this jack-up barge is an ideal solution for various marine construction tasks, combining the flexibility of crane options with robust jacking capabilities and ample accommodation.
