We are pleased to offer this fast-track new-build DP2 MPS OCV directly from its reputable Owners for private & confidential sale. This hull was never completed while the Vessel is currently in a European first-class Shipyard and about 70% completed. With direct/ qualified Buyers commercial LOI – inspection can be arranged in due course. Vessel is in region of US$20m for the Hull on an “As is” basis – 70% of construction phases 1 & 2 are completed. The final construction phase 3 will be completed, as per required Buyers specifications.
We can provide the latest build status report for the completion of Vessel upon named Buyer’s request. All engines/ thrusters (machinery equipment/ systems) are installed, and accommodation needs to be redone including other topsides work etc.
In addition, vessel could be altered to meet prospective/ qualified Buyer’s requirements. We can attest that the hull is basically 100% complete.
Vessel could be completed in the current Shipyard to Buyers own specification. This will be a much cheaper/ low-cost option.
The Owners have had advised that their preference is to sell the hull as a completed vessel based on the attached specification – some optional changes may be requested, as per prospective Buyer’s needs.
Ballpark pricing can only be provided against named Buyers with proven credibility. Vessel Owners require Letter of Intent (LOI) subject to Inspection.
Final pricing will depend on final spec – Buyers may require more accommodation for example, etc plus other bells and whistles as well.
The current overview from Owners side at present is as follows: –
* Owners plan is to find a credible Buyer for the vessel as a finished new-build vessel that can be completed at current yard. Back-up plan is to sell the project “as is” although this is not being considered yet.
* The hull is completed with main engines and thrusters installed. Main crane is for most part installed onboard (pedestal onboard, winch is installed below deck), while control systems/ electronics will be new.
* All vessel power management systems, bridge, DP system etc will be completely new.
* The accommodation section will be all new. Unless otherwise agreed the vessel will be delivered with DP-2 notation, SPS 2008, SCR Tier III, and Battery package.
Within the attached specs above you will find a short description of the project as intended completed at Owners yard, as the originally planned OCV with 250 t SWL Crane and 100 POB accommodation.
It needs to be noted that there are a number of additional concepts prepared by the Owners and its reputable Designers towards other more specific operations. These concepts together with price guidance will be available to named/ qualified Buyers only.
Vessel can be completed in 12-14 months from contract signing. It would be delivered as a 2026 new-build and would meet all Flag/ DNV Class requirements accordingly.
While this is a unique & valuable investment opportunity to acquire a typical European high-quality-built MPS OCV with a below current upstream offshore market price tag. Vessel to be delivered as a Newbuild 12-14 months max from contract vs 28 months for a typical new construction project. Inspections may also be arranged with minimal fuss upon direct Parties request.
