With a capacity to accommodate up to 500 personnel, it ensures comfortable living quarters alongside a spacious deck area measuring 2000 square meters. Powered by four main generators each rated at 1825 kW, along with an emergency generator providing 1300 kW, it guarantees continuous power supply for operational demands.
A standout feature is its 12-point mooring system, enabling secure anchoring in water depths of up to 1000 meters. Complementing this, it boasts 12 sets of mooring lines, each constructed with steel wire at 76×2500, boasting a breaking load (MBL) of 5000KN. Additionally, it is equipped with 12 x 15T anchors and 2 x 15 MT Spare Anchors to ensure stability during operations.
This unit is tailored for a range of conditions, with a design maximum wave height of 4.7 meters under self-existing conditions and 3.4 meters under normal operation. It can withstand wind speeds of up to 36 m/s during regular operation and 51.4 m/s in self-storage conditions. Notably, it features a bottom working water depth ranging from 9.01 meters to 15.78 meters, catering to various offshore environments.
Facilitating safe crew transfers is a telescopic hydraulic gangway, with a base length of approximately 36.5 meters and 6 meters extended. Additionally, it complies with ADA WOG standards, ensuring accessibility for all personnel.
Originally deployed in Brazilian waters between 2014 and 2017, this unit underwent a significant conversion in 2021 to transition into a wind-farm installation platform. The removal of the crawler crane, aligning the vessel with its new Owners operational focus while retaining its capabilities for offshore tasks and low purchase price, as per current offshore market value.
