HOS#606 | 1998 | 50.3 m | DP2 Fast Supply Vessel | For P&C Sale
This 1998-built DP-2 FSV was constructed by Breaux Brothers Enterprises, USA, and represents a versatile offshore support platform designed for rapid transportation of personnel, equipment, and project cargo to offshore installations. Measuring 50.29 m LOA with a moulded beam of 9.75 m and an operational draft of 2.74 m, the vessel combines excellent seakeeping characteristics with high transit speeds and substantial cargo-carrying capability.
The vessel is powered by three CAT 3516B twin-speed M/E developing a combined output of 6,000 BHP, driving three fixed/open propellers measuring 68 in x 76 in. Auxiliary power is supplied by one CAT C9 rated at 503 BHP together with two CAT 3406 generators rated at 75 kW each. The propulsion arrangement is complemented by a retractable azimuthing bow thruster rated at 150 HP together with Thrustmaster TT 200 HP tunnel thrusters installed both forward and aft, providing excellent maneuverability and station-keeping performance.
The vessel is fitted with a Class DP-2 system allowing safe and efficient operations in close proximity to offshore facilities and during critical cargo transfer activities. Additional motion-control capability is provided through roll stabilization tanks which significantly enhance operational comfort and safety in adverse sea conditions.
Cargo operations are supported by a clear deck area measuring 29.26 m x 8.53 m, providing approximately 249.59 m² of usable deck space with a deck cargo carrying capacity of 304.81 MT. The vessel has a DWT of 508.02 MT and is capable of carrying substantial volumes of offshore consumables and project materials. Tank capacities include 76.70 m³ of fuel oil, 132.56 m³ of ballast water, and 4.04 m³ of potable water. Dedicated pumping systems provide transfer rates of approximately 190 GPM for both fuel and water services.
The vessel is configured for offshore logistics and personnel transportation with accommodation for 7 crew members and certified passenger capacity for 65 PAX, upgradeable to 80 PAX subject to owner requirements and regulatory approval. Passenger comfort is enhanced through dedicated seating arrangements, climate-controlled spaces, a walk-in cooler, and a walk-in freezer.
Navigation and communication systems include dual radar installations, dual VHF radios, SSB radio, GPS, depth sounder, NAVTEX receiver, autopilot, 406 EPIRB, MT VSAT communications, Furuno A3 GMDSS equipment, and associated offshore communication systems suitable for international operations.
Classification is maintained under ABS High-Speed Regulations and includes ABS A1, ABS AMS, ABS Loadline, and ABS DP-2 notations together with International Voyage Certification. The vessel’s combination of high speed, DP-2 capability, substantial deck cargo capacity, and passenger transport functionality makes her ideally suited for offshore energy support, wind farm construction support, crew transportation, subsea support logistics, emergency response operations, project cargo transportation, and general offshore supply duties.
The vessel is currently offered for sale on an “as is, where is” basis and represents an attractive acquisition opportunity for offshore operators seeking a proven, high-performance DP-2 support vessel with strong offshore credentials and significant operational flexibility.
