The subject vessel is a modern Hybrid DP2 ROV / Diving Support Vessel (DSV) of approximately 103.00 m LOA and 23.00 m beam, specifically engineered to perform a broad range of offshore subsea construction, IRM, SURF support, diving operations, ROV deployment, renewable energy support, and offshore field development activities. The vessel has been developed in accordance with ABS Class requirements for offshore support service and incorporates advanced hybrid propulsion and energy management technologies to maximize operational efficiency, redundancy, environmental performance, and station-keeping capability.
With an LOA of 103.00 m, LBP of 94.40 m, moulded beam of 23.00 m, moulded depth of 8.50 m, operational draft of 6.18 m and scantling draft of 6.40 m, the vessel provides a highly stable offshore working platform capable of supporting demanding subsea operations in challenging offshore environments. The vessel is designed to accommodate up to 100 POB, allowing for marine crew, project personnel, ROV teams, diving teams, client representatives, survey personnel, and specialist offshore technicians.
The vessel is equipped with a sophisticated DP2 station-keeping system certified under ABS DPS-2 notation, enabling safe and reliable operations during diving, subsea construction, ROV intervention, inspection campaigns, and offshore installation projects. Propulsion is provided through twin 2,200 kW azimuth thrusters supplemented by three 1,300 kW bow thrusters, ensuring exceptional maneuverability, redundancy, and precise position control during critical offshore operations.
Electrical power generation is provided by five main generator sets rated at 2,320 kW each, delivering a total installed generating capacity of 11,600 kW. The vessel further incorporates an advanced hybrid battery energy storage system consisting of three 565 kW battery units, supporting load optimization, peak shaving, fuel consumption reduction, emissions reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency. Total installed power capacity exceeds 14,500 kW, making the vessel highly capable of supporting simultaneous offshore mission requirements.
The vessel has been designed with extensive subsea support capabilities including SAT diving provisions, air diving facilities, dedicated ROV support systems, HIPAP positioning systems, subsea survey support infrastructure, offshore workshops, maintenance facilities, stores, hospitals, project offices, control rooms, and associated mission equipment spaces. The design incorporates an AHC offshore crane rated at approximately 60 t with a working radius of 26.5 m and subsea operational capability to approximately 500 m water depth, supported by an additional telescopic crane for general service and cargo handling requirements.
A substantial clear working deck area of approximately 600 m² provides flexibility for project cargo, ROV systems, dive spreads, survey equipment, subsea tooling, cable handling systems, offshore containers, and renewable energy support equipment. The vessel is additionally designed to support helicopter operations through dedicated HELIDK arrangements, significantly improving offshore logistics and personnel transfer capability.
Tank capacities include approximately 1,000 m³ of FO, 600 m³ of FW, and 2,500 m³ of WB, providing substantial endurance and operational flexibility for extended offshore campaigns. Trial speed is projected at approximately 10 kn at 85% MCR, offering efficient transit performance while maintaining operational economy.
The vessel has been designed in accordance with numerous advanced ABS notations including Offshore Support Vessel, DSV Air/SAT Diving Operations, ROV Operations, SPS, AMS, ESS-LiBattery, ACCU, DPS-2, BWT, UWILD 7.5, MLC Accommodation, HELIDK, ENVIRO, IHM, CR, SMART, CRC, RW, PMP, HIMP, and Hybrid IEPS notations, reflecting a highly sophisticated and future-ready offshore support platform capable of serving the global offshore energy, subsea construction, renewable energy, and marine infrastructure sectors.
