The vessel is fitted with an elevated wheelhouse positioned at approx 8.23 m above WL, providing enhanced operational visibility for towing, line handling and close-quarters manoeuvring.
Navigation and communication suite includes 3 x VHF fixed units and 2 x handheld VHF radios, Furuno MKII radar with max range 36 nm, and Furuno GPS positioning system, integrated with electric/hydraulic steering for responsive helm control and precise station-keeping in harbour environments. The vessel is non-DP, US flag, and classed as a straightforward, mechanically reliable utility tug platform, prioritising simplicity, ease of maintenance and operational robustness over complex dynamic positioning systems.
