130’ class liftboat is a self elevating offshore work platform designed for marine construction, maintenance and heavy lift operations. The unit features a steel hull with an overall length (LOA) of 26.7 m, a beam of 18.6 m, and a hull depth of 2.1 m, providing a stable working platform during jacking operations. The vessel is equipped with three fixed cylindrical legs each with a length of 39.6 m and a leg diameter of 1.07 m, supported by a leg tower height of 4.6 m, allowing operation in water depths up to approximately 27.4 m working and 3.7 m minimum operating depth conditions.
The unit is fitted with a high capacity work pad measuring 7.3 m in length, 3.7 m in width, and 0.6 m in depth, designed with a four way slope configuration and a bearing load capacity of approximately 14.6 kN/m², ensuring structural integrity during heavy lift and crane operations.
Propulsion is provided by main engines developing a total output of approximately 597 kW, driving fixed pitch propeller systems through reduction gearboxes. Power generation is supported by a single generator set delivering 75 kW electrical output, ensuring adequate hotel and operational load support during offshore deployment. The unit is non DP and operates as a conventional positioning platform using mooring and jacking system control.
The vessel is fitted with two heavy lift cranes, consisting of a port side unit with a rated capacity of 9.1 t (10 ton) and a starboard side Crown Point crane with a maximum capacity of approximately 40.8 t (45 ton). Both cranes are deck mounted with fixed and telescopic boom configurations, with maximum boom lengths of 15.2 m and 21.3 m respectively, providing extended reach for offboard lifting operations.
Deck space offers a total area of approximately 233 m², with a clear working deck area of around 131 m², and a maximum deck load capacity of approximately 7,200 kg/m², making the unit suitable for heavy equipment staging and modular offshore operations. Storage capacities include diesel fuel of approximately 17,378 L, potable water of 20,719 L, hydraulic oil of 7,773 L, and lube oil capacity of 757 L, supporting extended autonomous operations.
Accommodation is provided for up to 24 personnel, including limited VIP facilities, full galley and messing arrangements, laundry, lounge and centralized HVAC systems, ensuring crew comfort during extended offshore deployment periods.
Navigation and communication systems are fully equipped including radar, GPS/DGPS, VHF, SSB radio, echo sounder, EPIRB, satellite communications and standard electronic aids to navigation, supporting safe operations within offshore and coastal environments.
The unit is US flagged and inspected under USCG standards, with a registered tonnage of approximately 171 GT, and is designed for heavy lift offshore support operations with robust structural integrity, high deck load capability and dual crane configuration suitable for a wide range of marine and offshore project requirements.
