This multipurpose offshore vessel, built in 1999 by Ulstein Verft, Norway, is designed for unrestricted operations, offering anchor handling, towing, trenching/ploughing, ROV operations, cable and flexipipe laying, and installation of underwater constructions. The vessel is of UT-742 design and features a 140 T offshore crane with active heave compensation.
The vessel measures LOA 95 m with a beam of 24 m and a summer draft of 7.8 m. Its depth to main deck is 9.7 m, airdraft from keel to top of mast 37.5 m, and freeboard 1.92 m. The vessel has a summer DWT of 5,300 T, GRT of 5,913 T, NRT of 1,774 T, lightship displacement of 5,296 T, and displacement at summer draft of 11,200 T.
Propulsion is provided by a total of 20,480 kW, producing a bollard pull of 268 T. Dynamic positioning is Class 2 (DNV DYNPOS-AUTR), supported by multiple DGPS and HiPAP systems, as well as gyro, wind, and motion reference sensors. The vessel’s class notation is ICE-C AHTS SF HELDK E0 DYNPOS-AUTR LCS-SID BWM-E(s) DK(+).
Deck facilities include 1,059 m² of main deck with 1,000 m² usable space, deck strength 10 t/m², and overall deck load capacity of up to 3,700 T. Accommodation is provided for 79 POB with single and double cabins, mess rooms, dayrooms, gymnasium, conference and office facilities, and a helideck rated for 9.3 t operations.
The vessel is equipped with comprehensive offshore handling and towing equipment, including Ulstein Brattvaag winches, shark jaws, towing pins, and lifting pins. Safety and lifesaving equipment include MOB boat, immersion suits, life jackets, EPIRBs, fire detection and suppression systems, and a fully equipped hospital.
