These DP2 classed MPSV’s are a robust, 85-meter LOA units designed for versatile offshore support operations in harsh marine environments. It boasts a breadth of 22 meters, a moulded depth of 8 meters, and a moulded draft of 6.2 meters, making it highly stable and capable of carrying out a range of offshore scopes of work. With an overall clear deck area of 800 square meters and a deck cargo capacity of 800 tons, it offers substantial space and strength for cargo transport, with a deck load capacity of 7.5 tons per square meter.
Each unit is powered by two Niigata engines, each delivering 3,000 brake horsepower, giving it a total of 6,000 BHP. The propulsion system includes two azimuth thrusters and two transverse-type bow thrusters rated at 800 kW each, providing enhanced maneuverability in challenging conditions. These vessels are equipped with a dynamic positioning system (DPS-2) for precise station-keeping, ensuring it can remain in position during complex ROV or SAT/ Air diving offshore operations.
Cargo capacities are extensive, with the ship able to carry approximately 1,150 cubic meters of fuel oil, 740 cubic meters of fresh water, and 1,750 cubic meters of drill water or ballast. An additional heeling capacity of 450 cubic meters further enhances its operational capabilities. A centrally-located moon pool, measuring 8 meters by 8 meters, facilitates subsea equipment deployment.
The vessel(s) is equipped with modern accommodation facilities for up to 200 POB, housed in a combination of one-man, two-man, and four-man cabins. The crew is supported by amenities including a hospital, chiller, freezer, and multiple offices, mess rooms, and fitness spaces, ensuring comfort during extended offshore operations at sea.
Classed by ABS under notation: ✠A1 Ⓔ Offshore Support Vessel (Supply-HNLS, FFV1), SPS, ACCU, RW, CRC, +AMS, +DPS-2, the vessels adheres to stringent safety and operational standards. Its onboard firefighting systems include CO2 fire extinguishing in the engine room, water-mist systems, and comprehensive firefighting monitors capable of discharging 1,200 cubic meters of water per hour to a distance of 120 meters radius.
For cargo handling and anchor operations, the vessel is equipped with a 100-ton active heave compensated (AHC) main crane, a deck crane rated for 5 tons, electro-hydraulic windlass and capstan systems, as well as tugger winches. The ship’s comprehensive navigation suite includes multiple reference systems, including radar systems, GPS, echo sounder, and autopilot, ensuring precise DP and safe navigation.
With its Sikorsky S61-certified heli-deck, advanced dynamic positioning by Kongsberg Maritime AS OEM, substantial cargo capacities, and extensive accommodation, this Vessel is designed to meet the demands of offshore supply and support, enabling it to undertake a wide range of light construction/ installations scopes of work, including Rescue or IMR/ ROV subsea tasks and other SAT/ Air diving duties if suitable/ modular equipment is installed on board for a particular projects mobilizations.
