HOS#459 | 1989 | 111.4 m | DP3 Diving Support & Heavy Lift Construction Vessel | For P&C Sale

This high-specification 111.4 m multi-role Offshore Construction Vessel is built to Bureau Veritas (BV) class and configured for complex deepwater operations, including diver and diverless subsea interventions, flexible and rigid lay, hyperbaric welding, subsea construction, and heavy lift support. Classed for unrestricted navigation, she carries notations including AUT-UMS (SS), ALM (SS), HEL, DYNAPOS AM/AT RS (SS), SDS.
She is powered by 6 x Wartsila W200 series, producing a total output of 12,600 kW, distributed via 3 x KaMeWa azimuth thrusters (2,200 kW each, 37 Te thrust) aft, and 3 x tunnel thrusters forward (1,325 kW each, 18 Te thrust), delivering excellent station-keeping in Beaufort 8 sea states. The Kongsberg SDP21 DP system with a fully redundant Kongsberg SDP11 backup ensures compliance with DP Class 3 (NMD).
Redundancy is supported with multiple position-reference systems including DGNSS, HiPAP 500 & 350, taut wires, fan beam, and RADius 1000.
Deck equipment includes a main offshore AHC box boom crane rated 200 Te @ 26 m (double fall), 175 Te @ 28.5 m, and 100 Te @ 29.2 m (single fall), with an aux hoist rated 20 Te @ 33 m. Additional cranes: 2 x 5 Te subsea knuckle boom cranes @ 15 m radius, and 1 x 1.5 Te provision crane. The vessel offers a large clear deck area of 863 m² above main deck (plus 250 m² below), and a 7 m x 5 m working moonpool, with a deck strength of 5 Te/m² and a max deck load of 1,140 Te @ 1 m above deck.
Diving capabilities include a fully integrated saturation diving system rated to 450 msw (certified to 300 msw), supporting 18 divers. The system includes 3 x 6-man DDCs, 2 x 3-man bells, 114 m³ internal system volume, and 21,000 m³ gas storage at 200 bar. Both bells and chambers are fitted with gas reclaim systems. Air diving stations can be installed as needed. A hyperbaric lifeboat (SPHL) for 18 divers + 4 crew is installed for emergency evacuation. Additional LSA includes 4 x 72-person TEMPSC lifeboats and 25-person life rafts.
The vessel features a strengthened helideck rated for S92 and Chinook-class helicopters, and accommodations for 139 persons in 76 cabins, including leisure, medical, and client office facilities. Vessel endurance is rated at 68 days, with tank capacities including 2,365 m³ fuel oil, 275 m³ fresh water, 2,383 m³ ballast water, 258 m³ drill water, and 59 m³ lube oil. Fuel consumption ranges from 6 m³/day (in-port) to 30–50 m³/day (transit) and 22–27 m³/day (DP operations).
Subsea systems include a work-class Multi Role Vehicle (MRV) with LARS, state-of-the-art manipulators, sensors, and tooling, launched starboard from mezzanine deck, and an eyeball observation class ROV on port mezzanine deck. Both are operated from a centralized Dive Control Room.
Stability and performance are enhanced by passive and active damping systems, delivering minimal vessel motion (1–2° roll) even in heavy seas. Seakeeping is further supported by active anti-heeling and ballast transfer systems.
At 7.26 m draft, the vessel displaces 11,935 Te, with GT 9,158 Te. Economical cruising speed is 10.5 kn, max 11.5 kn.
This unit remains a proven asset in the subsea construction and intervention market — ideal for operators requiring reliable DP3, deepwater Sat Dive, ROV, and Heavy Lift capability under one hull.
