The Triton XL 150 HP is a heavy-duty work class ROV engineered for robust offshore performance in deepwater operations. With an upgraded HPU delivering 150 HP, this system offers enhanced thrust and stability, supporting a wide range of subsea tasks including UXO survey, TDM, intervention, and pipeline/cable inspection and maintenance.
The vehicle measures approx. 3.1m (L) x 1.52m (W) x 1.85m (H) and weighs 3,500kg in air. It is depth rated to 2,500m and supports a max payload of 200kg. Propulsion is provided by 4 x 15″ horizontal and 3 x 15″ vertical thrusters, delivering bollard pull up to 900kgf both forward and laterally, with a cruising speed of up to 3 knots. Vehicle control is supported by auto heading, auto depth, and auto altitude modes for precise subsea navigation.
The unit is equipped with Schilling 7- and 5-function manipulators and uses fibre optic video transmission via its umbilical. It can be deployed via either an A-frame launched garage-type TMS or as a crane-launched free-swimming system. The TMS features a top-hat design with a 450m tether, measuring 2.18m (H) x 2.0m (Dia) and weighing 2,500kg.
Control is housed in an A60-rated, DNV-compliant 20’ containerized cabin measuring 6.00m (L) x 2.50m (W) x 2.90m (H) with an operational weight of 12,000kg. Power is supplied via 3-phase 440 VAC at 50/60 Hz.
The launch and recovery system (LARS) comprises an A-frame with a stowed footprint of 8.0m (L) x 2.9m (W) x 3.7m (H), supported by a power pack measuring 1.8m (L) x 2.9m (W) x 1.8m (H) and weighing 4,000kg. The system includes a winch with 2,300m of umbilical, housed within a 2.9m (L) x 2.9m (W) x 2.0m (H) drum, with a combined weight of 28,000kg. The A-frame offers 4.4m of outreach for flexible deployment.
Additional onboard support is provided by a DNV-compliant stores cabin in a 20’ offshore container format, also measuring 6.00m (L) x 2.50m (W) x 2.90m (H), with an empty weight of 10,000kg and a required power supply of 440V AC, 60Hz, 63A.
