This Heavy Lift-cum-Pipelay Vessel is classified under ABS notation +A1(E) +AMS, featuring a DPS-1 dynamic positioning system with IRS notation SUL (Sarvoutam Langer) and IY (Indian Yantra). The helideck is designed for max. weight of 12.8 mt as per CAP 437 requirements. The deck load capacity is 10t/sq.m. Tank capacities include 11,686t of water ballast, 2334t of fuel oil, 3064t of fresh water, 1600t of technical fresh water, and 77t of lubricating oil.
Accommodations support up to 290 personnel in en suite cabins. Communication and navigation systems include satellite communication, fleet broadband, VHF, UHF, SSB, FM, RADAR (X & S Band), gyrocompass (integrated with DP), an integrated CCTV system, GMDSS, EAS, AIS, LRIT, and ECDIS. A computer LAN network with internet ensures onboard connectivity.
The vessel is a member of IMCA and IPLOCA, complying with international offshore operational standards. Firefighting and life-saving equipment are maintained as per class requirements, ensuring high safety standards for offshore operations.
