This Offshore Support Vessel (OSV), built in August 2023, is designed to meet demanding offshore supply/ support operational requirements. Measuring 78.0 m in LOA, with a breadth of 18.6 m and a draft of 6.4 m, the vessel boasts a GRT of 3,677 t and an NRT of 1,171 t. With a DWT of 4,000 t and a displacement of 6,953.7 t, it offers substantial capacity and performance.
The OSV provides 800 m² of clear main deck space with a strength rating of 10 t/m², supporting up to 2,000 t of deck cargo. Tank capacities include 1,030 m³ for FO, 1,400 m³ for DW/ballast, 700 m³ for PW, 300 m³ for dry bulk, 835 m³ for mud/brine, 834 m³ for base oil, and 218.4 m³ for methanol. Discharge rates range from 150 m³/h for FO, DW, and PW to 100 m³/h for liquid mud and brine at 20 bar, with dry bulk discharged at 23.4 m³/min @ 5.6 bar.
Powered by 2 x 2,353 kW Niigata main engines, the vessel utilizes azimuth thrusters for propulsion and features two 1,000 kW CPP bow thrusters for enhanced maneuverability. The electrical system includes 3 x 940 kW and 1 x 1,200 kW Caterpillar generators, with a total output of 4,020 kW. A 95 kW emergency generator ensures backup power.
Equipped with FiFi Class 2 capabilities, the vessel is fitted with three remote-controlled monitors delivering a discharge rate of 2,400 m³/h. It is also outfitted with a 2.0 t crane @ 10 m radius, reefer points, and comprehensive firefighting and lifesaving systems, including an FRC and life rafts. Accommodation is SPS compliant for 59 POB, comprising single, double, and 4-person cabins, as well as a hospital.
The vessel is classified by ABS with notation †A1 OSV (FFV2, OSR-C1, SPS, Supply-HNLS), E † AMS † ACCU, † DPS-2, and includes modern navigation/ reference and communication systems such as DGPS, ECDIS, GMDSS, and Starlink. The DP FMEA was completed in July 2023, with the latest OVID in October 2023.
Fuel consumption is optimized for efficiency, with an eco-speed of 8.0 kts at 10.5 m³/day and a maximum speed of 13.0 kts at 18.0 m³/day, using HF HSD.
This highly capable and modern vessel is built to excel in offshore supply and support operations.
Vessel is located in West Africa waters and available for inspection upon direct Parties request.
