This DP2 Offshore Support Vessel, constructed in August 2024, is a state-of-the-art platform designed for robust offshore operations. With an overall length of 79.96 meters, a moulded breadth of 21.00 meters, and a moulded depth of 7.20 meters, the vessel offers exceptional stability and versatility. It features a designed draft of 5.60 meters and a deadweight capacity of approximately 3,300 tonnes, enabling it to handle demanding offshore tasks efficiently.
Powered by two MAK 8M25J main engines delivering a combined 6,530 horsepower through Berg azimuthing controllable pitch propellers, the vessel achieves a maximum speed of 13 knots. Maneuverability is further enhanced by two 12-tonne Berg KT-88B3 bow thrusters. The vessel’s electrical power is supported by three CUMMINS QSK19-D(M) main generators producing 550 kW each, two 2,100 kW shaft generators, and a 238 kW emergency generator. Vessel has direct driven engines.
She is equipped with a Kongsberg DP2 class dynamic positioning system, ensuring safe and precise station-keeping capabilities, even in challenging offshore conditions. The DP2 classification makes it suitable for a wide range of offshore support roles in the upcoming busy 2025 offshore market globally.
The deck layout features a clear deck area of 900 square meters with a deck strength of 5 tonnes per square meter, capable of supporting approximately 1,500 tonnes of deck cargo. The vessel includes advanced deck equipment, such as a 4.0-tonne SWL crane with a 19-meter outreach, anchor windlasses rated at 15 tonnes for 38mm chain, and several winches to facilitate offshore operations.
Cargo capacities are optimized for offshore logistics, with storage for 1,330 cubic meters of fuel oil, 573.8 cubic meters of potable water, 2,255 cubic meters of ballast or drill water, 295.8 cubic meters of bulk cement, and 721 cubic meters of mud or brine. High-capacity cargo pumps ensure efficient loading and discharge, including mud/brine pumps rated at 100 cubic meters per hour at 18 bar and fuel oil pumps rated at 150 cubic meters per hour at 0.8 MPA.
The vessel accommodates 54 personnel, comprising 12 crew members and 42 special personnel, in compliance with all MLC standards. All accommodations are designed for comfort and safety, meeting the requirements for HAB(WB) notation.
Classed under ABS with multiple notations, including +A1 Offshore Support Vessel, +AMS, +ACCU, ENVIRO, HAB(WB), MLC-ACCOM, +DPS-2, UWILD, Fire-Fighting Vessel Class 1, OSR-C1, and SPS Code 2008, the vessel is built to the highest international standards.
Equipped with a comprehensive suite of navigation and communication systems, including Furuno radar, ECDIS, DGPS, AIS, and GMDSS A3 compliance, the vessel ensures safe and efficient operations. Its firefighting capabilities meet FiFi Class 1 requirements, with external pumps rated at 1,830 cubic meters per hour and monitors delivering 1,200 cubic meters per hour.
This PSV is a versatile and capable asset, designed to meet the demands of safety and modern offshore oil & gas upstream sector, including renewable energy logistics support/ operations. Vessel completed sea-trials recently and all Class documentation/ certs are up to date.
