This multi-purpose shallow draft ice class tug, built in 2007, is classified under RINA – C Tug with unrestricted navigation and equipped with AUT-UMS and ICE CLASS IB certifications, making it highly capable in icy environments. The vessel has an overall length of 30.05 meters and a beam of 10 meters, providing a clear deck area of 105 m² for versatile operational needs. Additionally, it carries 700 meters of 38 mm towing wire and 210 meters of 44 mm anchor handling wire, supported by 60-ton towing pins and a 40-ton anchor handling wire stopper.
The vessel’s endurance of 15 days and accommodations, which include single, double, and four-bed cabins, allow for a total of 10 berths on board, making it suitable for extended missions with a sizable crew. The tug is also equipped with comprehensive A1 + A2 + A3 communication & navigation systems, ensuring reliable operations in remote or challenging harsh environment areas.
With its multiple CAT generator sets and a firefighting pump engine, this ice-class tug is well-suited for a variety of offshore, coastal, and icebound operations.
