This DP-1 AHTS is a robust and proven offshore support vessel constructed in 1992, designed for demanding anchor handling, towing, and supply operations. With an LOA of 76.00 m, LBP of 67.80 m, beam of 17.20 m, and a moulded depth of 8.50 m, the vessel offers a stable and capable platform for a wide range of offshore activities. She operates at a max draft of 7.21 m and has a DWT of 3,393 t, supported by a GRT of 2,966 t and NRT of 889 t, providing substantial cargo carrying capability combined with excellent seakeeping characteristics.
The vessel is powered by a strong propulsion configuration consisting of 4 × Wartsila main engines (2 × 8R32E and 2 × 6R32E), delivering a total output of 15,600 BHP at 750 RPM. This power enables a bollard pull of 181.5 t, making her highly suitable for heavy-duty anchor handling and towing operations. Maneuverability is enhanced through a comprehensive thruster arrangement including 1 × 736 kW bow thruster, 1 × 882 kW stern thruster, and 1 × 800 kW retractable azimuth thruster, in combination with twin spade rudders. The vessel achieves a max speed of 15.0 kn and a service speed of 10.0 kn, ensuring efficient transit and operational performance.
Equipped with a DP-1 system (Maritime Technology Bridgemate, pending re-certification), the vessel is capable of maintaining position during offshore operations, supported by DGPS and Fanbeam reference systems (also to be re-certified), as well as joystick control for precise maneuvering. The onboard power generation is supported by 2 × 2,650 kVA shaft generators, supplemented by 2 × 375 kW auxiliary engines and a 112.5 kW emergency generator, ensuring reliable electrical supply across all operations.
Her cargo and deck capabilities are substantial, featuring a clear deck area of 607 m² with a deck cargo capacity of 1,300 t. Deck strength is rated at 15 t/m² aft and 7 t/m² forward, allowing for flexible loading configurations. The vessel is fitted with a comprehensive suite of tanks and fluid handling systems, including 569 m³ IFO, 543 m³ MGO, 961 m³ ballast/drill water (discharge rate 250 m³/h), 624 m³ fresh water (250 m³/h), 313 m³ dry bulk (2 × 75 t/h), 504 m³ OBM (150 m³/h), 312 m³ brine (150 m³/h), and 172 m³ base oil (100 m³/h), supporting a wide range of offshore supply requirements.
The anchor handling and towing package is extensive and purpose-built for heavy operations, centered around a hydraulic Brattvaag waterfall winch with 4 drums, delivering 350 t line pull and 500 t brake holding capacity. This is complemented by 800 m of 86 mm towing wire, Triplex towing pins rated at 200 t, shark jaws rated at 300 t, and a 250 t SWL Smith bracket. Additional deck equipment includes 2 × 12 t tugger winches, 2 × 10 t capstans, a stern roller measuring 6 m × 3 m with 500 t SWL, chain lockers with 136 m³ capacity each, storage reels, and a deck crane rated at 4 t at 7 m / 2 t at 14 m, ensuring full operational capability for anchor handling and subsea support work.
The vessel is classed LRS +1001A1, LMC, UMS, Offshore and fitted with FiFi 1 firefighting capability, enhancing her versatility and safety profile in offshore environments. Navigation and communication systems are comprehensive and SOLAS-compliant, including multiple radar systems, GPS units, gyrocompasses, AIS, LRIT, SSAS, GMDSS suite, SatCom systems, Navtex receiver, echo sounder, autopilot, and portable and fixed VHF radios.
Accommodation is fully air-conditioned and designed for a total of 21 POB, including 10 crew. The layout comprises 12 single cabins, additional single and multi-berth cabins, a 6-man passenger cabin, and a 2-man cabin. Facilities include a galley, mess/day room, laundry, hospital (1 berth), provision stores including a 9.5 m² cool store and 10 m² freezer, ensuring комфорт and operational readiness for extended offshore deployments.
Overall, this DP-1 AHTS represents a well-balanced combination of power, deck capability, and offshore functionality, making her a highly capable asset for anchor handling, towing, and supply operations across a wide range of offshore environments.
