This vessel is an ABS-classed submersible deck cargo and launch barge, built in 2012, with a LOA of 150.00 m, a breadth of 40.00 m, and a depth moulded of 10.50 m. The designed draft is 7.5 m, with a displacement of 42,074 MT at summer draft and a deadweight of 30,669 MT at summer draft. The maximum submerged draft is approximately 20.0 m, and the maximum submersion is 9.50 m above the main deck. The vessel has an official number of 18060, a GRT of 5,418, and an NRT of 5,418. The deck is designed to accommodate uniform loading of 25 t/m², with a free deck area of approximately 5,700 m².
The ballast system consists of 37 ballast tanks with a fuel oil storage capacity of 62 MT and fresh water storage of 8 MT. The vessel is equipped with three ballast pumps, each with a capacity of 3,000 m³/hr at about 30 m, diesel-driven. The power generation system includes two generators, each rated at 139 kW, 440V, 3Ph, 60Hz.
For mooring, the vessel has a forward anchor windlass with a pulling capacity of 149 kN at 9 m/min, operating a 289 m anchor chain (Dia 56 mm) with a 3,940 kg anchor. The forward starboard caisson is fitted with a 300 kN mooring winch, with a 200 m wire rope (Dia 38 mm) and 2,720 kg AC14 anchors. The aft port and starboard caissons each feature a 200 kN mooring winch, with 200 m wire rope (Dia 32 mm) and 2,720 kg AC14 anchors. Additionally, there is a 60 kN retrieving winch located at the deck house, with 60 m wire rope (Dia 20 mm).
The vessel also features a fixed boom davit with a SWL of 1,000 kg at a 5 m radius, using 30 m of wire rope. The vessel is equipped with remote trim, heel, and draft indicators, a dual sensor remote sounding system on all ballast tanks, and dual ballast system control consoles located at both the deck house and pump room. Dual loading computers are in place to support operational efficiency. The design of the vessel allows for jacket launching up to 14,000 MT and the capability for full flat-top configuration to handle large jackets and deck cargo, with ballast system control available in the pump room. The stern caissons and starboard caisson are removable to suit varying operational needs. The vessel utilizes a 4-point mooring system.
Accommodation aboard includes a conference room, a resting room, and toilet and shower facilities. This vessel is ideally suited for the transportation and float-over of offshore modules, jackets, decks, topsides, structures, and various other floating units, such as rigs, dredgers, pontoons, ferries, vessels, river barges, tugs, and workboats. It is also equipped for the transportation of port equipment like RMQCs, RTGs, and CSUs, as well as for dry docking rigs, dredgers, tugs, and barges in remote areas. With its precise positioning capabilities, the vessel can effectively manage heel and angle adjustments underneath the cargo.
This barge is a versatile and robust vessel, engineered for heavy-duty offshore operations, offering high load capacities and precise control systems, making it an ideal choice for complex and demanding marine logistics tasks.
