This Non-Propelled Self-elevating JUB is classified under ABS, A1 Self-Elevating Unit, designed for operations in shallow water depths of up to 30 m. With dimensions of 46.5 m LOA, 30.3 m beam, and 4.5 m depth, the unit maintains a max. draft of 2.40 m. The jacking system, manufactured by Gusto MSC, features a positive engagement mechanism with tubular legs, each capable of handling a preload capacity of 1,300 t. The system enables an average climbing speed of 10 m/hr, supporting standard leg lengths of 55 m.
Tank capacities include 60 m³ for fuel and 60 m³ for fresh water. The accommodation layout consists of a main deck with a deck store, first aid room, tea room, deck toilets, and a mess hall for 24 persons on-board with a kitchenette, wash/ change room, and additional toilet facilities. The upper deck houses a double cabin, three offices, a meeting room, a janitor’s area, and a toilet.
A Favelle Favco PC 300 crane is installed on board, with a main hoist lifting capacity of 300 t at 18 m and an auxiliary hoist capacity of 32 t. The mooring system is equipped with four winches, each with a pulling force of 25 t and a holding force of 60 t, operating with 32 mm wire and 500 m drum capacity. Four 3 t Delta Flipper anchors provide additional station-keeping capability.
Power is supplied by two 450 kVA main generators and one 120 kVA auxiliary generator. The pontoon is also equipped with pile testing facilities, accommodating a max pile Ø of 3,000 mm, compression tests up to 1,250 t, and tension tests up to 900 t.
